These two lovebirds got married twice, and I was given the chance to capture both weddings for and with them. On their first wedding day, everything was selfmade – even the macrame hanging they used as a backdrop for their ceremony! Me being a big macrame girlie myself, I was blown away by the effort and commitment this must have taken to make. It looked incredible. Everything.

I loved how simple and easy this wedding felt. They rented a house by a lake somewhere in Austria, invited friends and family and just had the best time with their favourite people. I remember arriving in the morning and some of the guests just casually practicing yoga on the terrace after waking up. (Yeah, as a yoga enthusiast, I obviously loved that too).

The second wedding (civil wedding) was located in Germany, Bavaria – mainly for the close family circle. Honestly both weddings felt so different, yet similar and each incredibly beautiful in their own way.
