10/10/2020 – what a wedding date. And what a year.

Due to the circumstances at the time, only a small number of people were allowed to gather. But if Steffi and Christoph proved one thing that day, it’s that a meaningful wedding has very little to do with the size of the guest list. After their intimate civil ceremony, they celebrated in their backyard, surrounded by colourful autumn trees, occasional rain showers and of course the people who mattered most.

What I remember precisely about this day is the feeling it carried. Everything felt relaxed and uncomplicated. You could feel how much it meant to everyone simply to be together and share this moment.

Some weddings are remembered because of the people. Others because of the atmosphere. This one will always stay with me because it marks the beginning of my journey as a wedding photographer.
