Regina and Jakob celebrated their wedding day with not just one, but two ceremonies high up in the mountains near Kraftalm. The first took place in a small chapel perched on the mountaintop. Later, they exchanged their vows once again during an outdoor ceremony overlooking the vast mountain landscape, with the peaks of the Austrian Alps stretching out in every direction.

What made this day so special wasn’t only the breathtaking setting, but the atmosphere that surrounded it. Friends and family had gathered from near and far, sharing in moments of laughter, happy tears, and genuine connection throughout the day.

I had the privilege of documenting their entire wedding day. Following a couple’s story beyond a single day is always something I treasure, and Regina and Jakob’s journey is no exception. Sunshine, soft clouds drifting across the sky, and pleasantly mild temperatures created the perfect backdrop for a day spent outdoors in the mountains.

Days like these remind me again and again why I love what I do.
