…when the trip finally made it out of the group chat.
Aayushi and I have been close friends ever since I started planning my trip to India. We somehow crossed paths online and instantly clicked. Looking back, it feels less like a coincidence and more like one of those friendships that was simply meant to happen.
Ironically, despite me spending several months travelling through India, we never actually met in person until she came to Europe. So there we were: two people who love art, poetry, and storytelling, finally sharing the same place instead of just a screen. Photographing her felt like the most natural thing in the world. This session was less about posing and more about capturing her as she is — thoughtful, creative, adventurous, and completely herself.
I hope these images reflect her artistic soul and her deep love for the outdoors.
